I totally have season 1 of Jem & the Holograms on DVD. It makes me happy. Favorite part about the Jem dolls? Definitely the flexible wrists.

As for Jem, I honestly was singing her theme song the other day (insert long story about me using a Walkman to have one final listen before I throw out some middle school mix tapes).

It’s not *obviously* about Jem and the Holograms. But if you read between the lines — decode the hologram, so to speak — it’s all right there in the subtext.
